Minnesota caught a break when the Eagles lost in week 17, giving the Vikes the No. 2 seed and a week to rest. The Vikings put the rest to good use, as they dismantled a great Cowboy squad 34-3 in the divisional round. But Brett doesn’t have to win all by himself. The Vikings defense proved very dangerous against the Cowboys and will look to continue the trend against the Saints. They will have their hands full and then some against Drew Brees this Sunday.
The Saints were another team who fell behind late in the season. After getting off to a 13-0 start, the Saints dropped their next three. Experts began to write them off, saying their defense was too beat up and too weak to make it in the playoffs. Turns out, they don’t need much defense.Drew Brees and the Saints offense looked nothing short of unstoppable, piling up 45 points against an over matched Cardinals defense.
NFC Championship Game. Minnesota’s amazing DF vs. New Orleans’ Offense? Both are legit the other way around! The Saints have Marques Colston and Minnesota Vikings has Sidney Rice. Both amazing WR’s. They have the top two QB’s in the league. Pretty close matchup. I want to the Vikings to win. Who do you want to win?

My guess is Vikings.
I’d like to see the Vikings win for several reasons. Among those reasons is that Green Bay needs a reality check. Aaron Rogers is no Brett Favre and by winning the NFC I see Packers fans, the same fans that booed this future HOFer, eat crow. Another reason for me wanting the Vikings to win is that I have little respect for Reggie Bush. He is a classless punk who likes to rub it in the face of his opponents. He does not know how to win with humility. I hope that the Vikings can teach him that aspect of his life.
Favre has been there, Brees has not. This will make the difference!

I think that Vikings D-line cannot be stopped by any team once they get it going. Dallas has just as good an offense as the Saints on many Sundays so I wouldn’t count on them stopping the Purple People Eaters.
