The FIFA 2010 World Cup Finals Group Stage Draw has just been released with the tournament to start in June. The closer we get to the opening date the more excitement buzz it made online. Who do you think will advance to the knockout stage out of group stage? It’s hard to predict who will advance but here’s a list of my predictions for the group stage. In most groups, the favorites (seeded teams) should advance fairly easily but there will likely be a few surprises. Here’s a list of the groups along with predictions of who will advance.
Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
Prediction – France wins group,South Africa gets second
Group B: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic, Greece
Prediction – Argentina wins group, Nigeria gets second
Group C: England, USA, Algeria, Slovenia
Prediction – England wins group, USA gets second
Group D: Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana
Prediction – Germany wins group, Serbia gets second
Group E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon
Prediction – Netherlands wins group, Cameroon gets second
Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia
Prediction – Italy wins group, Paraguay gets second
Group G: Brazil, Korea DPR, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Portugal
Prediction – Brazil wins group, Ivory Coast gets second
Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile
Prediction – Spain wins group, Honduras gets second
FIFA 2010 World Cup Championship: Brazil VS Spain, but Brazil will take home the World Cup Trophy.

Probably Spain, but I think that Brazil can give them a challenge, and Argentina’s performing subpar lately so I doubt they’ll make the final.

What and Portugal have been consistent far from it they got lucky in a play off otherwise they wouldnt even be getting mentioned in that W/C draw England have a good chance if we have the right players fit
I don’t think England won’t even reach the semi. Spain look good and i think they’ll nick it. If Spain don’t win this time they’ll never again come close in the near future.

Don’t ride off the Socceroos. We play with pride and honour. Unlike the Italians who dive every time a leg comes near them. Those cheats were the reason we got knocked out last time. Nil all, into stoppage time after Australia had dominated the whole game, and some loser ‘tripped’ over Lucas Neill.
We may be in the hardest group, with all teams being capable of qualifying for the next round. But, we’ve beaten tough teams like Germany before. We haven’t lost to Netherlands in awhile.
Since, we don’t really play soccer much here, it will be a huge achievement.

A lot of people are betting on Spain, but they’ve never really done well in World Cups. Plus, to win a WC after right after winning Euro would be really lucky. The traditional powerhouses will probably come through…Italy, Germany, Brazil.

Most of the factor for the World Champion 2010 are saying Spain will win the title. But usually it isn’t the big favourite that will win the tournament, so I think Brasil will make the race.
